Something is broken.

American life is sliding into chaos.

Some of the causes of the chaos are cultural.

So some answers must be cultural.

That’s what I want: to use anthropology to help fix American life.

I don’t care about the endless debates that rage online.

I am not here to score political points or accuse anyone of anything.

I am an anthropologist acting like an engineer, dispassionately.

Where the chaos is coming from? How can we fix it?

Have a look, and please let me know what you think.
